Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information needed to perform requested services. This may include employee information, payroll hours, compensation changes, deductions, tax information, banking information, and other records necessary to process payroll or provide bookkeeping services.

Count on Susan is not responsible for errors, penalties, delays, or other consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information provided by a client or third party.

Payroll and Tax Services

Count on Susan assists clients with payroll processing, payroll-related reporting, payroll tax support, and other agreed-upon payroll services. Services may be performed using third-party payroll or accounting software.

Count on Susan is not a law firm or CPA firm and does not provide legal advice or independent tax advice. When a matter requires advice or services outside the scope of Count on Susan's services, clients may be advised to consult a CPA, attorney, tax professional, or other qualified professional.

E-Verify Services

When E-Verify services are requested, Count on Susan provides assistance based on information and documentation supplied by the client and its employees. Clients remain responsible for complying with applicable employment eligibility verification requirements and for providing accurate and timely information.

Third-Party Services

Count on Susan may use or provide links to third-party platforms and services, including payroll software, accounting software, Google Calendar, Google Business services, and other technology providers.

Count on Susan is not responsible for outages, service interruptions, security incidents, policy changes, or other issues caused by third-party providers that are outside of our reasonable control.

Confidentiality

Count on Susan respects the confidential nature of client, employee, payroll, and business information and uses reasonable measures to safeguard information entrusted to us.

Clients should not submit highly sensitive information, including Social Security numbers, employee payroll records, or banking information, through general website inquiries or unsecured communication unless specifically instructed to use an appropriate secure method.

Fees and Payment

Fees for professional services are based on the services agreed upon with each client. Additional services, special projects, payroll setup, transitions, corrections, or work outside the agreed scope may require additional fees.

Payment terms and service-specific pricing may be provided separately to clients.

Scheduling and Consultations

Visitors may schedule consultations through the scheduling link provided on this website. Scheduling a consultation does not create a client relationship or obligate Count on Susan to provide services.

A client relationship begins only after Count on Susan and the prospective client agree to the services to be provided and any applicable terms and fees.

Limitation of Liability
